Patti Mailer

Is an experienced and strategic professional (B.A., CPHR, SHRM-SCP, RPR) with 30 years facilitating and coaching and honing her communications skills dealing with people in conflict during her lengthy Human Resources career.

To enhance her career, Patti started training in mediation and as she progressed through the Conflict Resolution Program, she realized the strength and breadth of the mediation process.  As a result of her personal struggle through our litigious, expensive, and challenging court process, Patti started training in family mediation looking for a way to help families in conflict specifically with the goal of help families stay out of court, maintain successful parenting strategies, and healthy relationships with their children, and also to preserve as many financial assets as possible as during the separation / divorce process.

Patti received her training in mediation at Mount Royal University where she achieved her Conflict Resolution Certification.  Wanting to further specialize in Family and Divorce mediation, she worked through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Alberta (ADRIA) where she was certified with a specialty in Separation and Divorce Mediation.

Working closely with Micheline, Patti has garnered a solid understanding of the financial side of divorce and helps families make fully informed decisions as they move through the separation and divorce process and transition into planning for two households. Patti has a unique way of mixing the “tried and true” with creative new ideas in order to find solutions that work in each family situation.  Patti is comfortable dealing with all types of personalities and has experience dealing with situations involving high conflict and addictions.  Patti is available to work with clients either remotely or onsite as required.
